Halyna is an Associate at Fragomen’s New York office, where she focuses her practice on U.S. business immigration and compliance matters. Halyna has experience crafting legal strategies for H-1B visas, PERM and I-140 petitions for small, mid-size and large corporations.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Halyna worked at a small immigration law firm, where she focused on employment-based immigration matters for corporations, organizations and individuals. She also assisted clients with adjustment of status, naturalization and asylum cases.
During law school, Halyna served as a student attorney and provided pro bono support for humanitarian and family-based applications, as well as removal defense.
Halyna volunteers with the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota and previously volunteered with Volunteer Lawyers Network.
Halyna speaks English, Russian and Ukrainian and is proficient in Italian.
