Hifzu is a Manager and Solicitor in Fragomen’s London office. He has more than 10 years’ experience assisting clients with the full range of UK immigration matters. He assists several established global clients across multiple sectors, including finance, technology and engineering, with managing their internship programmes under Fragomen’s International Internship scheme. This scheme allows Fragomen to sponsor interns on behalf of businesses.
Hifzu has advised entrepreneurs in various sectors to establish their businesses and status in the UK. He has also helped companies to obtain sponsorship licences and maintain their immigration compliance. In addition, Hifzu has carried out extensive advocacy at the First and Upper Tier Tribunals and assisted with complex immigration matters related to family-based applications under both UK immigration rules and EEA regulations.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Hifzu was a caseworker for the UKVI in their EEA department. He also ran a weekly clinic at the local Citizens Advice Bureau for over four years, providing pro bono immigration advice to the public.

Experience
Assisted a chain of pharmacies to acquire a sponsorship licence and then sponsor individuals as they looked to expand their chain.
Assisted the individuals of a large foreign based pharmaceutical company in obtaining their Tier 1 Entrepreneur visas after they had taken ownership of a UK based pharmaceutical company.
Helped to reunite an individual with her younger orphaned siblings and nieces after she had claimed asylum in the UK after numerous hearings in both the First and Upper Tiers.
Helped an individual suffering from severe PTSD and mental health difficulties to be reunited with his wife after an extended period of separation due to the difficulties posed by the immigration rules.
