Katie has been practicing in the field of U.S. immigration in London since 2007. In her role as Director, she assists with all aspects of U.S. consular services across the EMEA region, and prepares nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applications, including for complex, urgent and group matters.

Katie is experienced in the various concessions of the business visitor visa category (e.g., B-1 in lieu of H) and has successfully secured business visitor visas in various complex situations, including following past denials. She advises on and processes E-2 applications for companies of all sizes—from individual investors looking for a new opportunity in the U.S., to publically-listed companies seeking greater efficiency in obtaining work authorizations for employees. In addition, she assists with filing immediate relative petitions at U.S. consular posts. She also assists clients with immigrant and nonimmigrant waivers of inadmissibility for applicants with past convictions for crimes involving moral turpitude, controlled substances, and past U.S. immigration violations. Katie provides consultations on and assists with abandonment of legal permanent residency matters and renunciation of U.S. citizenship.

Katie works with clients in a wide range of industries, including professional services, investment management, retail and food services, media, utilities and information technology. She has extensive experience in working with small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to support their business strategies and expansion into, or within, the U.S. market by securing E-1 or E-2 status at U.S. consulates abroad.

Prior to joining Fragomen, Katie worked at other London-based immigration firms where she provided full service U.S. immigration assistance, including consular assistance and preparation of USCIS filings.

Katie speaks English and French.
