Maliha is an Associate at Fragomen’s Phoenix office, where she supports corporate clients with H-1B and other nonimmigrant applications. Having personally experienced the U.S. immigration system through her family’s journey to the U.S. from Pakistan, she brings a firsthand understanding of the complexities and impact of business immigration. This perspective informs her practice and reinforces her commitment to guiding businesses and individuals through the immigration process.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Maliha worked as an immigration attorney at boutique law firm based in Phoenix, where she assisted clients with removal defense and humanitarian and family-based immigration applications. During law school, Maliha interned with ACLU of Arizona, where she assisted with immigration-related matters, and worked with Mi Familia Vota, where she assisted with citizenship applications. She also participated in her law school’s Immigration Clinic, where she focused on assisting children in the foster care system.
Maliha is a volunteer attorney with Phoenix Legal Action Network (PLAN), where she assists with asylum applications on a pro bono basis.
