Maysie is a Director in Fragomen’s Singapore office, representing the firm across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, with more than 12 years of immigration experience in EMEA and APAC. She is responsible for the firm’s Asia Pacific Coordination Centre, supporting the management of immigration programs across a wide range of industries and providing strategic advice and solutions to clients with a focus on risk and compliance.

Maysie focuses on optimizing Fragomen’s service delivery model to compliment clients’ business needs, maximizing efficiencies, streamlining internal and client processes through the creation of customized communications, data management tools and reporting protocols. Maysie also works closely with other mobility vendors to implement and deliver a consistent program for clients.

Prior to her current role, Maysie worked in Fragomen’s London office for 5 years, managing the global immigration program of a leading financial services company. She provided guidance on immigration program design across EMEA, India and the U.S., acting as a single point of contact for cross-jurisdictional project work and advisory services, and developed policies to navigate the ever-changing landscape of global immigration.

Maysie has also spent over a year in Fragomen’s Shanghai office undertaking program management and client services for a multinational technology company, leading projects related to the expansion of the firm’s presence across the Asia Pacific region.

Maysie has previously worked at Fragomen’s Kuala Lumpur offices for over three years, where she helped to establish and build out the practice, managing an experienced team of consultants and working with multinational companies across a diverse range of industries to provide strategic immigration advice and compliance driven solutions. She provided clients with practical guidance in managing urgent business needs within the extremely discretionary and unpredictable government policies in Malaysia.

Maysie speaks English and Hindi.

Advised multinational companies on the immigration implications of major legal changes such as Brexit, global contingency planning as a result of H-1B cap in the U.S., as well as implications involved with new entity set ups, business mergers, acquisitions and divestitures.

Created bespoke global business travel policy solutions and advised on business travel requirements within EMEA and APAC, specifically reviewing risk regarding short term work authorization requirements and genuine business visits.

Offered risk-based immigration solutions through the roll out of flexible and hybrid work arrangement.

Coordinated global graduate programs for clients, including international new hire training.

Involved in complex crisis management strategy, offering speed-to-ground solutions following emergency global conflict and COVID-19, including urgent remobilization planning, short term residence and long-term work authorization options and business continuity impact.

Supported clients with audits and compliance-related matters falling under immigration law and policy.
