Miguel is the Business Immigration Director at Fragomen’s Mexico City office.

In this role, he provides guidance, direction and leadership to immigration professionals focused on assisting clients in Mexico by providing high-level and experienced advice and counsel on complex immigration matters.

Miguel joined Fragomen in 2011 and previously served as Mexico Account Manager as well as Senior Latin America Immigration Coordinator in the firm’s Costa Rica location.

He also supervises the Mexico pro bono practice and has implemented a local agreement in Mexico City with a NGO for attorneys to volunteer time in an immigration clinic where they assist migrants, asylum seekers and refugees who require representation before the immigration authorities.

Miguel speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish.
