Rita is an Associate at Fragomen’s New York office, where she represents clients in a variety of nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters. She counsels multinational and national corporations from a wide range of industries, including advertising and marketing, information technology, financial services, healthcare and retail.
Rita has experience preparing and filing nonimmigrant visa petitions for specialty occupations, specialized knowledge and multinational manager professionals, as well as successfully responding to complex Requests for Evidence for H-1B and L-1 nonimmigrant petitions. She also has experience preparing and filing immigrant visa petitions for multinational manager professionals and securing extraordinary ability classification for individuals, based on demonstrated international expertise and prominence in business and the arts.
During law school, Rita served as a Law Clerk at Fragomen and as the Editor in Chief of the New York International Law Review. She also volunteered at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York, where she assisted with asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile cases.
