Sapna takes pride in fostering and enriching client relationships—particularly relationships with small- and mid-size companies seeking global talent to support growth and innovation. She represents a wide variety of companies, including enterprises in the management consulting, IT consulting, technology, construction and engineering sectors, emphasizing a personal, face-to-face client service style.

She strives to tailor Fragomen’s expansive resources to the individual needs of each client. Beginning with the firm’s well-tested standard approaches and systems, she collaborates with the client to discover useful components that can be customized to meet their goals and work within their systems. On the policy and program level, she utilizes industry benchmarking techniques to help clients set and meet goals, while incorporating the latest developments and changes in immigration legislation and regulation.

For more granular, day-to-day service, she prepares her teams by immersing them in the unique culture of each client, customizing their interactions for a seamless fit—from the tenor of employee experience and engagement to the clients’ internal communications style.  Her management style emphasizes accountability, responsibility and recognition—her team members are given room to grow and innovate on their clients’ behalf, and their efforts are supported and rewarded by Sapna.

This approach has yielded valuable innovations in her clients’ immigration programs, including dedicated “office hours” for client employees to check in on their progress through the immigration system, to sophisticated automated communications that provide valuable information and radically decrease unnecessary or redundant employee contact.

Sapna maintains an active pro bono practice. She assists with immigration clinics for the International Institute of New England, an organization that provides legal services to refugees and immigrants from around the world. She also contributes her knowledge to the Boston office of the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation Project, a nationwide organization that provides free legal services to asylum seekers and promotes the rights of detained immigrants.

Sapna sits on the board of directors for the South Asian Bar Association of Greater Boston, the regional voice of South Asians in the legal profession and the wider community they serve. She currently serves as President of the Association.

Sapna speaks English and Gujarati.
