Sara is an Associate at Fragomen’s Miami office, where she practices U.S. business immigration law, focusing on nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence, citizenship and consular processing. She initially joined Fragomen as a law clerk and returned to the firm following graduation from law school.
During law school, Sara was a Fellow for the Immigration Clinic, where she worked on removal defense cases including asylum and cancellation of removal. As part of the clinic, she co-wrote an appellate brief for the Eleventh Circuit, which went to oral arguments. Sara also served as a summer intern for Centro de los Derechos del Migrante in Mexico City, a binational nonprofit that advocates for migrant workers’ rights.
Sara’s pro bono efforts have included applications for parole into the U.S. based on urgent humanitarian reasons, applications for Temporary Protected Status and petitions for U nonimmigrant Status.
Sara speaks English and Spanish.
