Business Visa Services and Technology

Conquer business visa compliance.

It’s just a quick trip—isn’t it?

For some time now, many companies have started to favor short term business travel for their mobile workforces over more traditional (and more expensive) longer-term assignments.

While this strategy can help maintain competitiveness in the global marketplace, don’t be fooled—short-term assignments carry just as many risks as their long-term counterparts. All too often, business travelers mistakenly assume that they do not require work permits just because of the brevity of their trip or they simply fall under the radar of their organization’s mobility program.

For many companies, short term business travel is in fact the number one risk to your immigration compliance today. Fragomen provides the full range of business visa services to help our clients conquer business visa compliance—and avoid costly mistakes.

Here’s how:

Experienced guidance meets disruptive technology.

As the world begins to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, the landscape of global immigration and mobility will likely shift—and short-term travel will become much more relevant once again. Importantly, this new environment will make it critically important for you to know exactly where your people are in order to remain compliant.

Our solution is Nomadic—a technology-led business unit of the greater Fragomen firm focused on the delivery of solutions for short-term immigration programs, such as business visas, Posted Worker notifications and similar short-term cross border travel and compliance program needs.

Nomadic incorporates Fragomen’s extensive knowledge of immigration compliance into an integrated pre-trip assessment tool that provides accurate advice on the appropriate visa for a trip based on a range of factors, including the employee’s planned activities in the destination country.

Nomadic’s business visa services include:

  • Online, automated pre-trip compliance assessments and initiations
  • Document review, confirming eligibility and acceptability of documents, including a digital photo service confirming the suitability of visa photos
  • Filing on behalf of the applicant, where possible
  • Collecting, verifying and returning approved visas
  • Visa review service (confirming that the individual can travel on an existing visa for their stated activities and duration in-country)
  • Passport application support and submission, where possible
  • Form filling, template business support letters, appointment booking and accompaniment
  • Platinum concierge-level support options
  • Assessments for EU compliance, including Posted Worker Notifications, A1 Certificates of Coverage and Equal Pay regulations, as well as submission of any required Posted Worker Notifications
