Fragomen Attorney Recognized for Pro Bono Service

Congratulations to Fragomen’s Monica Sherman Ghiglia for being recently honored with the “Inn of Court Pro Bono Publico Award” by Casa Cornelia Law Center.

The award recognizes Ms. Sherman Ghiglia for providing pro bono legal services to Casa Cornelia’s indigent clients, who are often victims of human and civil rights violations. 

At the center, Ms. Sherman Ghiglia has dedicated her time, knowledge and experience to the children's screening clinics for the center’s unaccompanied immigrant minors program. She has also supported several U visa cases for victims of domestic violence.

Ms. Sherman Ghiglia and twelve other attorneys were selected by Casa Cornelia’s staff and board members from a pool of over 200 volunteer attorneys for their dedication in providing access to justice.
