The Human Rights Initiative of North Texas (HRI), a nonprofit agency in Dallas, will honor Fragomen with the prestigious 2015 Angel of Freedom Award this October.
Following last summer’s rush of unaccompanied minors fleeing violence in Central America, Fragomen lawyers in Dallas assisted in the HRI legal clinics and represented individual clients with Special Immigrant Juvenile Visas.
The firm and individual lawyers gave critical and generous financial support to the HRI mission of providing legal and support services to refugees and immigrants who have suffered human rights abuses, advocates for justice and promotes international human rights.
The awards will be presented at the 15th anniversary event, appropriately themed as a Quinceanera Celebration, on October 3, 2015.
Congratulations to our colleagues on this well deserved recognition!
