Along with science and technology industry leaders, Fragomen Partner, Ian Robinson, presented evidence to the UK Commons Select Committee for Science and Technology, at an Oral Evidence Session entitled 'An immigration system that works for science and innovation.'
In a UK Parliamentary first, the Select Committee opened up the floor for comments and questions from the public who were present in the meeting as well those who were following the live feed online and on Twitter.
Fragomen's Erin Clor and Melissa M. Babel, based in the firm's Brussels and Toronto respectively, were also present and offered comments on both the French and Canadian approaches to the attraction and retention of skilled foreign workers in the science and technology fields. Hear the session here.
