Managing Partner, Australia and New Zealand
The Lawyers Weekly interviewed Fragomen’s Teresa Liu and Alex Paterson about their recent appointment as co-managing partners of the firm’s Australia and New Zealand practices.
Teresa and Alex replace the Robert Walsh, who retired on June 30 after a 10-year-tenure as the managing partner.
Ultimate responsibility for all offices in Australia and New Zealand will be shared by Alex and Teresa, as will oversight of the firm’s Sydney operations. Alex will also oversee Fragomen’s Perth office, Teresa will manage the Brisbane office, and a third partner, Chris Spentzaris, will supervise the firm’s offices in Melbourne, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand.
In this interview, Teresa and Alex discuss their commitment to aggressively evolve the firm’s local and regional operations within the immigration law and mobility space.
