In addition, Teresa forms part of the leadership of the worldwide Private Client Practice, assisting individuals with settlement to key locations around the world. Teresa’s professional journey intersects with a migration program marked by constant and significant change in Australia and New Zealand and beyond. Teresa is an Australian solicitor and also New Zealand Licensed Immigration Advisor. As government immigration policies and programs evolve, and the enforcement and compliance regime become increasingly more heightened, she envisions and implements robust workforce planning and management strategies. Navigating through periods of uncertainty, she ensures a proactive approach, swiftly placing boots on the ground with efficiency.

Teresa is a member of the Migration Member Advisory Committee (MAC) of the Committee for Economic Development of Australia (CEDA) and an active contributor and presenter at a range of HR, mobility and related legal conferences. She also contributes and presents at continuing professional development sessions for immigration advisers and lawyers such as Legalwise, Thomson Reuters and through the Law Council of Australia. Teresa is a continuing author of immigration publications, including the web-based legal publication LexisNexis Practical Guidance Immigration Law Module, which was launched in 2013, and Halsbury Law’s of Australia chapter - Citizenship and Migration.

Teresa contributes and participates in reform dialogue regarding the Australian immigration program and system through the practice’s Government Relations group, both in submissions as well as in appearing on behalf of Fragomen to provide evidence before Government inquiries and committees in the migration program, system and industry. She was formerly appointed by the Government as a member of the Migration Advice Industry Advisory Group and that inquiry.

A seasoned immigration attorney, Teresa embodies the essence of agile leadership, adept at navigating the dynamic legislative and business landscapes to implement growth strategies. Teresa feels strongly that leadership is about more than just guiding; it is about actively participating in growth strategies, fostering diversity and ensuring seamless solutions for clients in an ever-evolving landscape.
