Financial Times: Trump Administration Pauses Immigrant Visa Applications

The pause has resulted in scheduled immigrant visa interviews at US embassies and consulates being postponed, with affected applicants awaiting new appointment dates. Brian discusses the significant disruption these last-minute cancellations can create for individuals who have already incurred travel expenses and made personal and professional arrangements to attend their interviews.

The State Department has not indicated when affected appointments will resume.
