By: Rachel Beardsley, Laura Flynn

Partner Rachel Beardsley and Associate Laura Flynn authored an article published by AgCareers, a service provider of global talent solutions in agriculture and food, in its weekly newsletter.

The article, "H-2A and H-2B Visa Program for Temporary Workers," discusses the increased labor demand and how the H-2 visa program can be utilized as a responsive measure. It also outlines the two visa options included in the H-2 program: H-2A for agricultural workers to fill temporary agricultural-based jobs for which U.S. workers are unavailable, and H-2B for non-agricultural workers to perform jobs which are temporary or seasonal in nature to fill a shortage of U.S. workers.
