Argentina: Visa-Free Entry for Chinese and Dominican Nationals with U.S. Visas

Argentina now permits nationals of China and the Dominican Republic to enter the country without an Argentine consular visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (AVE), provided they hold a valid U.S. tourism or business visa. Previously, travelers from these countries were required to obtain an Argentine visa through a consulate, or an AVE if eligible. Under the new policy, Dominican nationals may enter Argentina visa-free strictly for tourism, with a maximum stay of up to 90 days. Chinese nationals qualify for both tourism and business travel, with an initial stay of up to 30 days. The National Immigration Directorate may authorize a one-time extension of stay for the same duration as the initial entry. However, travelers admitted under this policy may not change their immigration status once in Argentina (i.e., cannot apply for a temporary residence visa while in-country).
