Benin: Reciprocal Visa Waiver Agreement Forthcoming

The Benin Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that it intends to sign a reciprocal visa waiver agreement with Belize, Dominique, Granada, Maurice, Sao Tome and Principe, and Seychelles to promote investment opportunities. Once implemented, this visa waiver agreement will allow visa-free entry into Benin and into the mentioned countries for Benin nationals for all types of passport holders for business or tourism purposes. A timeframe for implementation has not been announced but Fragomen will report on the visa waiver details once the Ministry announces them.
