Bermuda: Technical Issues with Immigration Department’s Systems May Cause Delays

The Bermudan Department of Immigration’s electronic systems (including email and phone systems) are temporarily offline due to a cybersecurity breach that affected all governmental agencies. Work permit applications for foreign nationals can be submitted (since work permit applications in Bermuda are submitted in-person, not online) but processing delays should be expected until the electronic systems are fully restored.
