Bulgaria: Foreign Nationals No Longer Allowed to Enter on Cypriot Visas or Residence Permits

Effective March 31, 2024, foreign nationals will no longer be able to enter Bulgaria using a Cypriot visa or residence permit, issued at any global Cypriot consular post. Previously, such visas and permits were recognized as equivalent to Bulgarian national visas. Affected foreign nationals will need to obtain a Bulgarian or other accepted visa to enter Bulgaria.
