UPDATE NOVEMBER 24, 2023: According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection and Canada Border Services Agency reports, the Rainbow Bridge border crossing has reopened to traffic in both directions.
After an explosion earlier today, the Rainbow Bridge crossing at the U.S.-Canada border is still closed but the Peace Bridge and Lewiston/Queenston crossings have reopened, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Though early reports indicated that Buffalo International Airport was closed to incoming and outgoing international flights, the airport is fully operational but additional security screenings remain in place.
