Fragomen and SunGard recently won the Best Vendor Partnership Award at the FEM APAC 2015 EMMA awards. The award is the result of an innovative partnership driven by cutting-edge technology and outstanding client service. The partnership aimed at achieving an end-to-end immigration assessment process that allowed SunGard’s International Business Traveler Program Team to effectively manage the risk associated with its large international business traveler population. As a result SunGard incorporated Fragomen’s Business Visa Matrix, a sophisticated online immigration assessment tool, into its International Business Traveler Program to assist its team to better manage this risk.
The Business Visa Matrix tool offered a compliance oriented, cost-effective and customized approach that allows SunGard employees to easily and quickly confirm their immigration requirements in one central location, and enabled SunGard to leverage the broader subject matter experts across the firm to stay up-to-date with legislative changes throughout the world and to ensure that its program remains current.
While Fragomen’s tools, customer support and knowledge enabled SunGard’s program team to track its large business traveller population and manage compliance, open communication amongst the Fragomen and SunGard organizations was also instrumental in helping the teams to regularly improve and refine the processes. Also, SunGard’s constructive feedback enabled Fragomen to continually enhance its Business Visa Matrix tool and delivery of business visa related services on a broader level.
Though technology and innovation are pivotal, the core of a successful partnership ultimately lies with the people. This partnership wouldn’t have been a success without the efforts and determination of teams at SunGard and Fragomen. SunGard’s Abigail Harris, Senior Director International Mobility and Jessica Smart, Senior International Mobility Consultant were instrumental in the success of the project. Fragomen’s team, led by Worldwide Engagement partner Lisa Ryan and Global Knowledge Manager Sandrine Krasnopolski, participated from around the globe including, Chad Ellsworth - Partner, Francesca Doe - EMEA Client Services Manager, Cristina Cortes - LAR Client Services Manager, and Ozlem Oztekin - US Client Services Manager.
