Colombia: System Updates to SITAC Platform Cause Temporary Immigration Processing Delays

The SITAC platform, which manages government processes, including visa processing and approvals, passport issuance, apostilles, legalizations and related services, is currently experiencing intermittent outages due to system maintenance. This is causing the system to be available at times, but it is not consistently operational, which may result in user issues with filing applications and related actions. Authorities have stated that they expect continued outages over the next few days, which are expected to result in delays across these services. At this time, there is no timeline on when the system will resume full operationality, but authorities have indicated that they will provide updates once the maintenance activities are completed.
