Dominican Republic: Update On Yellow Fever Vaccination Requirement for Certain Travelers

The General Immigration Directorate has verbally confirmed that all travelers one year old or over arriving from Brazil, Colombia or Venezuela, or who have been in any of these countries within 30 days prior to arrival in the Dominican Republic must present a yellow fever vaccination certificate to enter the country. The government had previously implemented yellow fever vaccination requirements for certain travelers from Brazil and Venezuela, but had suspended these rules in July 2022. Note that entry requirements may change frequently in the Dominican Republic, typically with little or no notice. Individuals seeking to travel to the Dominican Republic should check with their immigration professional and specific airline for specific information.
