In this episode of Dubai Eye’s The Agenda Podcast, Partner Murtaza Khan discusses the newly-announced changes to residence and tourist visas in the United Arab Emirates, including how they make moving to the UAE for employment and retirement an attractive option.
While these new regulations have been anticipated for some time, Murtaza explains their transformative and forward-thinking nature, as they introduce concepts that are the first of their kind, particularly in the region. He shares that much of the progressive thinking behind these rules had to do with understanding current and future trends toward attracting talent. These visa changes create opportunity for talent to establish themselves in the UAE, specifically with regards to preferences for remote and contract working.
