EMN Belgium Policy Event

The EMN Belgium Policy Event is an annual one-day gathering bringing together around 100 Belgian experts in asylum and migration. Attendees include representatives from ministerial offices, federal and regional administrations, civil society, international organizations, and academia.

The event features plenary sessions and break-out workshops to encourage dialogue, share expertise, and foster collaboration across sectors. Discussions focus on key developments from the past year and upcoming challenges in migration and asylum policy, directly informing EMN Belgium’s annual "Asylum and Migration Overview" report.

Break-out Session 1 will be led by Fragomen Senior Manager Wout Van Doren and Associate Pauline Chomel, covering Labour migration: regional policy changes in 2024 and identifying common trends, held in both French and Dutch.
