Fragomen in Boston is being honored with 2018 Pro Bono Law Firm Award by PAIR (Political Asylum/Immigration Representation Project) that provides free legal services to asylum-seekers and promotes the rights of detained immigrants.
This award recognizes our Firm for its "Home for the Holiday" initiative that ensured that immigrants detained by US Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE) would have access to counsel, and for its continuous support to PAIR and its clients. The "Home for the Holiday" initiative was spearheaded by Aimee Mayer-Salins, an associate in our Boston office.
Through this initiative, our attorneys defended the rights of detained immigrants who are bond eligible and assisted many others with their release and reunification with their family before the holidays.
Our team will be presented with the award at Annual PAIR Gala on June 5.
