For the past few weeks, the office at Fragomen in Silicon Valley has been collecting canned food to help the Second Harvest Food Bank serve millions of hungry people in their local community. Since its inception in 1974, Second Harvest has become one of the largest food banks in the nation, providing food to nearly a quarter of a million people each month. The Food Bank mobilizes individuals, companies, and community partners to connect people to the nutritious food they need.
The office capped off their food drive last Friday by asking nine different teams to participate in a friendly competition to see who could build the most amazing piece of art using their donated cans. The final structures were judged on design, structural integrity, creativity, attention to detail, and use of ingredients. Here are some photos of what they came up with!
