Fragomen has published a Brexit survey report to help businesses prepare for the impacts of Brexit on immigration.
The report has been produced to assist multinational companies, SMEs, and corporate mobility and HR teams to fully understand the consequences of Brexit on immigration, and what other companies are doing to prepare for eventual changes in immigration policy.
About the survey
Fragomen gathered 140 responses from businesses of all sizes, from start-ups to large multinationals. Responses also came from a variety of industries, providing a useful benchmarking foundation from which readers may explore what similar companies are doing to prepare their workforces for Brexit.
How businesses have reacted to Brexit
The survey found that 55 percent of respondents deem immigration, and access to talent, a major consideration when preparing for Brexit. But 74 percent of businesses do not currently have a plan in place for Brexit, immigration and the impact on its workforce. So what steps can companies take to address their concerns?
Developing a plan for Brexit
Fragomen has provided helpful recommendations and tips on what businesses can do to plan for the eventual changes in immigration policy. One key message is the importance of keeping accurate records of who your EU nationals are, so that when changes are announced, businesses can act swiftly to support the staff affected.
Who to contact
Should you have any queries, Fragomen has put together a special Brexit Task Force with members who can actively address your questions and concerns. To reach this team, email [email protected].
