Fragomen is a sponsor for the Global Mobility Forum, taking place in Sydney on Thursday, 18 June.
The Global Mobility Forum brings together ANZ’s leading Global Mobility HR, Rem & Bens, Reward, Talent and Award professionals, industry experts and key product specialists to explore current and future trends in the ever-growing and complex arena of international assignments.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with some of the most influential and senior leaders in the global mobility community, through a full day of peer-to-peer networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. The program features thought‑leading panel discussions, product expert‑led seminar sessions, corporate roundtables, and inspirational keynote presentations.
Fragomen Partners Sasko Markovski and Charles Johanes will host an interactive roundtable session, A Practical Approach to Workforce Compliance and Risk. As regulatory scrutiny increases and employee mobility becomes more complex, organisations need to invest in robust workforce compliance frameworks to reduce legal and reputational risk, improve workforce planning, and demonstrate strong corporate governance. For HR and mobility professionals, this means leveraging the right systems as well as creating sustainable, scalable processes that provide visibility, accountability and compliance across the entire employee lifecycle.
This session will discuss best practice approaches in implementing a robust, audit ready and defensible right to work compliance program which will cover aspects such as:
- how to approach a workforce audit, including key legal, business and employee related considerations
- what to consider when evaluating systems and technology – including integrations with your ATS, HRIS and onboarding systems
- designing the right data and systems architecture to support broader workforce planning
- implementing robust internal processes and record keeping as well as change management and communications
- how to elevate the risk to the right stakeholders in the leadership team to drive change
In addition, Fragomen Partner Sasko Markovski will facilitate an exclusive Fireside Chat with the Department of Home Affairs, offering timely insights into the evolving regulatory landscape.
