Ireland: Burgh Quay Dublin Delays
November 28, 2022
The Immigration Registration Office in Burgh Quay, Dublin is experiencing Residence Permit (IRP) renewal card processing times of six weeks, after which it can take two weeks to receive the new IRP card. Employees with expired IRP cards who cannot obtain a valid registration card by the expiry date of their current IRP card can remain in Ireland under the conditions of their current IRP card up to eight weeks according to a new concession, if they provide proof that they have submitted their renewal application before their expiry date (i.e. by providing the online application number (OREG number)). It should be noted that this currently only applies to residents of County Dublin. Those whose permission expired prior to submitting a renewal application will likely be considered to be out of status.
