Israel: Hi-Tech Companies Can Now Hire Graduate Students
March 23, 2022
According to the recent update to the Hi-Tech Work Visa Regulation, Israeli hi-tech companies can now apply for a work visa for university students or recent graduates for certain hi-tech professions in Israel. Eligible companies can now submit an application to locally hire a student studying a hi-tech profession for part-time work or graduates within three years of their graduation. While students can be employed on a minimum base salary (currently NIS 5,500 gross per month), graduates must meet minimum salary requirements for the first six months of employment and 150% of the minimum salary after six months of employment.
