
UPDATE MARCH 28, 2024: Following the public comment process, the Kenyan State Department for Immigration and Citizen Services will implement the new immigration fees, effective April 1, 2024.
November 13, 2023: The Department for Immigration and Citizen Services (DICS) has announced a fee increase for immigration services related to work permits, passports, citizenship, permanent residence and visas and consular services. Furthermore, it is expected that there will be fee increases for identity cards and registration of birth and death services. The implementation date of the fee increases is yet to be announced by the DICS as it is challenged in court. We will monitor the related developments.
