In an article published in Khaleej Times, Partner Shayan Sultan highlights how Disneyland Abu Dhabi may reshape the UAE’s labour market through large-scale job creation.
He notes the project will generate a wide range of roles, from guest services and retail to corporate positions like HR and marketing, many of which will require specialist skills or multilingual talent. Shayan points out that Emiratisation policies will play a key role, with employers likely to prioritise hiring local nationals depending on the park’s location. He also says the influx of jobs could drive demand for new immigration solutions including long-term residence permits, short-term visas and bulk processing. The scale of hiring, he adds, will require careful selection of visa pathways to ensure timely deployment of international talent.
