Shayan is a Partner in Fragomen’s Dubai office. He provides strategic immigration, social security and corporate services advice for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, ensuring clients’ business strategies align with local laws and regulations. Shayan assists leading corporations in the oil and gas, hospitality, pharmaceutical, healthcare, aviation and technology industries.
Shayan has worked with clients on their regional expansion plans to ensure immigration, corporate and social security strategies are in place for the business to achieve its commercial goals compliantly. He has assisted multinational clients with organizational restructurings to achieve smoother, more economically sound business operations. Shayan also advised start-ups across various industries on best practices to navigate the MENA region.
Shayan oversees the regional network of local partners and co-counsels, covering countries in the MENA region. He is responsible for client service consistency across the MENA jurisdictions, ensuring a high-quality level of service is delivered regardless of location. He also leads the client service, process standardization and innovation initiatives across the MENA region.
Prior to joining Fragomen, he worked in a boutique immigration law firm in the US.
