Kyrgyzstan: Visa-Exempt Travel Stay Period Extended for Certain Nationals
January 14, 2025
Nationals of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates can now enter and stay in Kyrgyzstan visa exempt for any short-term stay purpose (including tourism or business travel) for a total of 180 days within a 360-day period; whereas previously, the short-term stay period for these nationals was 60 days within a 120-day period. These changes continue various reforms to Kyrgyzstan’s visa-exempt travel regime, including new cumulative stay limits for certain nationals, and a Temporary Residence Permit for certain nationals staying beyond their allotted visa-free periods.
