Lithuania: Temporary Residence Permit Processing Times Shortened

The Lithuanian government has shortened the official government processing times for temporary residence permits (TRPs), with some exceptions, by about one month. Initial TRPs will be processed in three months (1.5 months for expedited requests); and renewals of TRPs will be processed in two months (one month for expedited requests).  Highly-qualified employees, intracompany transfers of managers or specialists, individuals establishing start-ups or working as lecturers or researchers and those who have completed their studies in Lithuania and managers of companies in Lithuania (and family members of these individuals) will have their initial TRPs processed in one month (and expedited requests in two weeks).
