
The Immigration Department of Malaysia expanded its Autogate facility to now allow certain long-term pass holders to use it to enter and exit Malaysia, providing faster immigration clearance than regular immigration lines. Long-term pass holders must have passports containing a digital chip that comply with International Civil Aviation Organization standards in order to access the Autogate facility. Previously, the Autogate facility was only available to Malaysian citizens.
