During the discussion, he emphasized the need for Brazil to implement policies that attract and retain talent similar to strategies used in countries like the US. With Brazil’s growing role in the global energy sector, he highlighted progress in the country’s immigration landscape but called for further improvements including policies that facilitate skilled migration. He also stressed the importance of viewing immigration from a technical perspective rather than an ideological one.
