The Namibian Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security has introduced an online visa application on the e-services portal for visa nationals visiting Namibia for stays up to three months for tourism. This service will facilitate the pre-approval process and replaces the need for physical submission of visa application documents. The government fee is NAD 600. Applicants will be informed about the outcome of their application within three to four calendar days on the platform. If the application is approved, the applicant will receive a digital pre-authorization travel document on the platform. The introduction of this online visa is part of the government initiative to digitize services and to attract investment to the country.
