Nationals of French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname and Venezuela who enter Brazil by land may now apply for a streamlined nationality-based residence visa at their local Federal Police branch after arrival. The two-year residence permit does not require employer sponsorship.
The residence visa is similar to the MERCOSUR visa in that it offers a simplified application process, without the need for employer sponsorship.

Eligible nationals of French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname and Venezuela should benefit from the streamlined visa category, as no corporate sponsorship is required.
