New Zealand: Online Application System Forthcoming for Residence Visas and Related Applications

Beginning at the end of January 2024, foreign nationals will be able to submit applications on the Immigration Online website for permanent residence visas, renewed resident visas, and variation of travel conditions of resident visas, instead of submitting paper-based applications. The move to an online system is intended to allow foreign nationals to track the progress of their applications online without having to contact the Immigration New Zealand contact center and to streamline the process as physical documents, such as passports, will no longer need to be submitted.
