Northern Ireland Travel News: UK Government Visa Scheme Expected To Launch Next Month

Beginning on October 25, 2023, the UK will implement an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) scheme, applying to non-visa national international travelers such as short-stay tourists, business travelers and those in transit. Much like the US ESTA scheme, travelers must secure digital permission for the UK prior to boarding a flight, boat or train.
