Qatar: Amnesty Program Announced for Foreign Nationals with Irregular Status

The Qatar Ministry of Interior has announced a three-month amnesty from February 9 until May 9, 2025, allowing foreign nationals with irregular immigration status to exit the country without penalties by departing through Hamad International Airport or by visiting the Search and Follow-up Department on Salwa Road to complete the necessary departure procedures. It is unclear whether they will have the option to regularize their status. Further details on the implementation of the amnesty program are expected.
