Qatar: Amnesty Program Announced for Foreign Nationals with Irregular Status

The Qatar Ministry of Interior has announced a three-month amnesty from February 9 until May 9, 2025, allowing foreign nationals with irregular immigration status to exit the country without penalties by departing through Hamad International Airport or by visiting the Search and Follow-up Department on Salwa Road to complete the necessary departure procedures. It is unclear whether they will have the option to regularize their status.
