Brazil has introduced a new visa aimed at digital nomad workers who want to spend more than three months in the country. The new visa is valid for up to one year, can be extended by an additional 12 months and gives visa holders the same rights as Brazilians.
In the Raconteur article, “What it’s like to live and work in Brazil,” Partner Diana Quintas explains that digital nomads who wish to reside in Brazil for three months or less should consider coming as a tourist rather than through the digital nomad visa.
