Revised Document List and Submission Process for Employment Pass Applications

Employment Pass applicants sponsored by MSC Malaysia status companies will be required to submit additional application documents online, according to an announcement by the Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MDeC). The changes will be effective April 13.
Employment Pass applicants will be required to upload revised supporting documentation as MDeC will no longer accept manual submission of these documents.
The new document checklist will be available online April 13.
What This Means for Foreign Nationals
Foreign nationals should eventually benefit from a faster online submission process, but may experience delays shortly after April 13 during the transition to the new online submission process.
