Rwanda: Update to Visa Waiver Program

As an update of Rwanda’s visa scheme that was implemented on January 1, 2018, more nationals have been added to the reciprocal visa-free entry program for stays up to 90 days for tourism and business, including nationals of Angola, Cote d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone and Qatar. Additionally, Rwanda and the Republic of Maldives have signed a reciprocal visa waiver agreement which allows for nationals of both countries to enter, exit and transit through the other country for stays of up to 30 days for tourism and business without a visa.
