Saudi Arabia: Revised Work Visa Quotas

Saudi Arabia has revised its work visa quotas for newly established businesses as follows:  

• • Businesses operating for less than two years may obtain up to five work visas.  
  • Businesses operating for more than two years may obtain up to 50 work visas, whether through a single application or multiple applications submitted within the same week at the entity level. 
  • Businesses participating in the Establishing Programme initially receive two work visas, with the opportunity to increase their quota as they progress through the programme and achieve a higher Nitaqat rate.  

These requirements are new and did not apply under the previous framework.
