Senior Associate Tuğba Özyakup Appointed to Dutch Bar Legislative Committee on Immigration Law

Senior Associate Tuğba Özyakup has been appointed to the Dutch Bar’s Legislative Committee on Immigration Law for a four-year term, from September 2026 to September 2030.

The committee provides input and advice on proposed changes to and existing immigration legislation on behalf of the Dutch Bar. In her role, Tuğba will contribute her extensive experience in Dutch immigration law and a global perspective on immigration policy and practice to the committee’s work.

Based in Amsterdam, Tuğba has more than a decade of immigration law experience and serves as a senior legal adviser in Fragomen’s Dutch immigration practice. Her work includes complex immigration matters, litigation and government relations, as well as advising businesses and individuals on a broad range of Dutch immigration and nationality matters.

Her appointment further strengthens Fragomen’s engagement with developments shaping immigration law and policy in the Netherlands.
